ANNUAL TALK, PANEL AND
PRESENTATION BOOK
2007 edition of annual talk, panel and
presentation book of the Film Center had been published and can be found
at bookstores. In this year's book highlight talks are: Park Chan-Wook,
Gus Van Sant, Çağan Irmak, Lale Mansur, Sinan Çetin, Yılmaz Erdoğan,
Güven Kıraç, Taylan Kardeşler, Sırrı Süreyya Önder, Özgü Namal, Doğu
Yücel, Hasan Cemal, Müşfik Kenter and Füruzan...
All talks, panels and presentations organized by the
Center are recorded audio- visually. The audio is transripted into text
and form the annual debate and panel book published by Bogazici
Üniversity Press. Becoming a first hand voice of filmmakers this
publication is filling an important gap in Turkey's cinema sphere.
In the previous years 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004 and 2006 editions of the book had been published. You can find and purchase all
these books at Bogazici University Press.

Established in December 2000, Mithat Alam Film Center offers Boğaziçi University members access
to an archive of approximately 6,200 films on video that could be
checked out or watched in the small screening room at the Center.
The Center also
includes an auditorium with a capacity of 61 seats. Here, regular
retrospectives focusing on the works of famous directors and actors as
well as different genres and countries are held throughout academic
semesters.
